BROWN – 100% Herbal hair dye

Description

100% Herbal Brown dye gives your non-grey hair a rich, reddish brown shade. The dye not only colours your hair, but also contains botanical extracts chosen to improve hair growth and scalp condition, and can help in clearing up problems such as dandruff, itchiness and hair loss.

The brown shade tends to dye greys an orangey brown colour so it is best used on hair that is 'salt-and-pepper' grey, i.e. hair in which the greys are evenly mixed throughout the hair and not concentrated in one place. When used on 'salt-and-pepper' hair it can give a lovely vibrant look to the hair. It dyes non-grey naturally blond, and brown hair a rich, reddish brown colour.

Adding some of our pure indigo powder to this dye will make it darker and reduce the orangey brown colour.

It is also a good product to use as the first step in a two step henna/indigo dye process. It can be used instead of our pure henna, and then followed by our pure indigo. Note that this dye does not contain any bleach, so cannot lighten darker hair to this brown shade. And it is also not suitable to be used on hair that has been lightened, for example highlighted hair.

For best dye results and to preserve the colour in between dye applications we recommended that you use the clarifying shampoo and gentle shampoo that are listed in the Shop.
